Great Wall Motors (GWM) has unveiled the updated 2025 GWM Tank 300, featuring new powertrain configurations and a redesigned interior. Customers in China can now reserve the updated off-roader with a CNY3,000 (approx. RM1.8k) deposit, CarNewsChina reports.
Visually, the updated GWM Tank 300 maintains its tough, off-road aesthetic. The most noticeable exterior changes include a new winch on the front bumper for petrol and diesel variants, and the addition of a “Desert Yellow” exterior colour option. Electric side steps and a tow hook remain optional.
The changes are more apparent in the inside, featuring a new D-shaped, two-spoke steering wheel, a 12.3-inch instrument panel, and a new 14.6-inch floating central control screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip that runs on the third-generation Coffee OS 3.
Audiophiles will appreciate the upgraded sound system, now featuring 12 speakers and active noise cancellation. Other interior improvements include a redesigned centre console with a new column shifter, two 50W wireless charging pads, and Nappa leather upholstery.
