Bermaz Xpeng has launched the Xpeng G6 in Malaysia, introducing the car in two variants – the G6 580 Pro and the G6 755 Pro. Prices of the car start from RM165,820 and go up to RM185,820, on the road and without insurance. It is a fully electric car that is about the size of the Tesla Model Y and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

The Xpeng G6 is built on the Smart Electric Platform Architecture 2.0 (SEPA 2.0) platform. Dimension-wise, the G6 580 Pro and 755 Pro measure 4,753 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, 1,650 mm in height, and is underpinned by a 2,890 mm wheelbase.

Standard exterior items on the Xpeng G6 in Malaysia include:

Both variants of the Xpeng G6 in Malaysia are rear-wheel drive (RWD) only, although they do differ in power outputs. The entry-level 580 Pro variant packs 255 hp (metric) and 440 Nm, while the 755 Pro gets 282 hp (metric) and 440 Nm, making it slightly quicker to complete 0-100 km/h at 6.2 seconds, compared to 6.6 seconds on the 580 Pro. The top speed for both variants is limited to 202 km/h.

The 755 Pro variant comes with a bigger 87.5 kWh NCM battery pack, giving it a driving range of 570 km (WLTP). The 580 Pro variant meanwhile has a 66 kWh LFP battery pack for a range of 435 km (WLTP).
Both variants feature an 11 kW on-board AC charger. The Xpeng G6 further supports fast DC charging, with the 580 Pro and 755 Pro variants capable of accepting 215 kW and 280 kW respectively. This enables both variants to recharge their battery from 10% to 80% in approximately 20 minutes. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality is standard on both variants, capable of delivering up to 3.3 kW of power for your electrical appliances.

Moving inside, both variants feature a modern, tech-focused interior with a large 14.96-inch central touchscreen powered by a Snapdragon 8155 processor. In addition to the functions controlled via the touchscreen, the driver also benefits from a traditional 10.2-inch instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. For added convenience, the infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
