Ora 07 previewed in Malaysia – 2 variants, up to 640km range, to launch in March

Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia has just previewed the Ora 07 all-electric sedan at The Raw Studio, Kota Damansara. To be offered in two variants, namely the Long Range and Performance, order books for the Ora 07 have been opened here in Malaysia, with the car being set to make its launch in the country around March this year.

Size-wise, the Ora 07 measures 4,871 mm in length, 1,862 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height, making it around the size of the BYD Seal and the Tesla Model 3. Colour choices offered with the Ora 07 in Malaysia will include grey, purple, and white.

Performance-wise, the Ora 07 Long Range in Malaysia is powered by a front-mounted single-motor setup which produces 204 hp (metric) and 340 Nm, while the more powerful Ora 07 Performance sports a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup that pushes out 408 hp (metric) and 680 Nm. Thanks to an 83.5 kWh battery pack fitted in each variant, the Ora 07 Long Range can travel as far as 640 km (NEDC), while the Performance variant’s electric range is rated at 550 km (NEDC).

In Thailand, the Ora 07 is packed with interior kits such as a “triple gauge” 10.25-inch digital instrument display, a 12.3-inch infotainment display that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a panoramic glass roof. Other equipment such as automatic air-conditioning system and front seats with massaging functions are also included.
