Jaecoo Malaysia has announced a new Professional Affiliates Programme, offering special benefits to “members of professional bodies and employees of registered companies in Malaysia”.
One of such benefits is an exclusive discount on the purchase of both the petrol (AWD and 2WD) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants of the Jaecoo J7.
Aimed at both aspiring and experienced working professionals, the programme’s eligibility includes individuals belonging to professional organisations and associations, financial and insurance services, corporate entities, and even content creators recognised as Jaecoo brand ambassadors.
The programme also extends its benefits to the direct family members of eligible individuals, including spouses, parents, and children.
Interested individuals who are eligible can simply visit any authorised Jaecoo showroom nationwide and verify their eligibility by presenting relevant documentation, such as proof of membership with professional bodies, proof of employment, and related documents as advised by Jaecoo dealers.

The Jaecoo J7 is available in two variants, normally priced at RM138,800 for the 2WD variant and RM148,800 for the AWD variant.
Powering the Jaecoo J7 is a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine producing 197 hp and 290 Nm, paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with power sent to either the front wheels (2WD) or all four wheels (AWD).

For the PHEV variant, it is priced at RM158,800 and is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 143 hp and 215 Nm. This is paired to a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) which houses an electric motor that makes 204 hp and 310 Nm.
Combined, the hybrid powertrain on the Jaecoo J7 PHEV produces 347 hp and 525 Nm with a claimed NEDC range of 1,300 km and a pure electric (EV) range of 106 km (NEDC) from an 18.3 kWh battery pack.
Charging is supported at 6.6 kW with an AC wallbox, alongside 40 kW DC charging support, the latter enabling a 10% to 80% recharge in 20 minutes.
