Zeekr Malaysia has launched the updated Zeekr X locally, with two variants available at prices starting from RM159,995 on-the-road without insurance. This represents a price hike of RM4,195 for the base Premium RWD and RM4,665 for the range-topping Flagship AWD, which previously retailed at RM155,800 and RM172,800, respectively.

The updated Zeekr X introduces several subtle exterior changes to the crossover, chief among them being the powered doors mirrored from the Zeekr 7X. This setup eliminates door handle cutouts entirely for an ultra-minimalist look, placing the operation buttons on the B-pillar for the front doors and directly on the rear door panels. Furthermore, the Zeekr X now rides on redesigned 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, while the range-topping Flagship AWD upgrades to larger 20-inch items.

Likewise, the interior is also largely carried forward except for a new 14.6-inch infotainment display, which is now powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset, and can be adjusted up to 353 mm towards the front passenger. Other new interior trimmings include a new two-spoke multi-function steering wheel with a row of touch capacitive controls at the bottom, and a centre console that comes with a refrigerator with a capacity of 5.1 litres and can operate between -6 and 50 degrees Celsius.

The most significant upgrade to the updated Zeekr X lies in its powertrain. The Premium RWD variant’s rear-mounted motor now delivers 340 hp (250 kW) and 373 Nm of torque—an improvement of 68 hp and 30 Nm over the predecessor, which shortens the 0-100 km/h sprint to 5.3 seconds, down from 5.6 seconds previously.
This RWD powertrain is juiced by a 66 kWh NCM battery that enables a range of 445 km (WLTP). Charging is supported with AC charging at 11 kW, taking 7.5 hours to fully charge the crossover, with DC charging taking 30 minutes for a 10-80% charge at 150 kW.
Stepping up to the Flagship AWD variants adds a traction motor on the front axle for a combined output of 496 hp (365 kW) and 573 Nm. This enables 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and has a range of 415 km (WLTP) from the same 66 kWh NMC battery. This variant supports AC charging at 22 kW, which requires four hours for a full charge. With DC charging, the Flagship AWD variant also takes 30 minutes for a 10-80% charge at 150 kW.
Safety-wise, the Zeekr X is equipped with an ADAS suite consisting of five HD cameras (one forward-facing long-range and four surround-view), five millimetre-wave radars (one forward-facing long-range and four mid-range), 12 short-range ultrasonic radars, and one in-vehicle monitoring camera. The ADAS features on the Zeekr X include:
- Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with Lane centring control (LCC)
- Lane keep assists (LKA)
- Emergency lane keep assist (ELKA)
- Automatic lane change with turn signal input
- Autonomous emergency braking (AEV)

The Zeekr X Premium RWD is offered in three exterior colours: Crystal White, Grid Grey, and Porcelain Pink. Meanwhile, the Flagship AWD variant is available in four options: Crystal White, Grid Grey, Onyx Black, and Matter Khaki Green.
Priced from RM159,995, included in the price of the Zeekr X is a standard five-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, an eight-year/160,000 km battery warranty, and a one-year complimentary connected service package, which includes support for on-board navigation and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
