Volkswagen unveils new Wolfsburg Edition models for Arteon and Tiguan Allspace – to debut at Malaysia Autoshow 2025

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has just unveiled the Wolfsburg Edition models of the Volkswagen Arteon and Tiguan Allspace, to pay tribute to Volkswagen’s hometown – Wolfsburg.

These special models will be making their debut at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 alongside the Golf GTI Black Edition, with prices starting at RM206,590 for the Tiguan Allspace Elegance, RM260,074 for the R-Line, and RM301,012 for the Arteon R-Line 4Motion. All prices are on-the-road and without insurance, and include the RM15k Volkswagen Assurance Package which covers five years of warranty, seven years of free maintenance, and five years of complimentary roadside assistance.

The prices mean that the Wolfsburg Edition models are approximately RM5,000 dearer than their regular counterparts. But for a limited time, VPCM is also offering discounts of up to RM 40k with the introduction special savings. This brings the prices down to RM176,590 for the Tiguan Allspace Elegance, RM 240,074 for the R-Line, and RM 261,012 for the Arteon R-Line 4Motion.

So what’s so special about these “Wolfsburg” models? All three special edition cars will come equipped with exclusive Wolfsburg accessories that include:

  • Wolfsburg Crest emblem on B-pillars
  • Volkswagen logo valve caps
  • Wolfsburg Edition floor mats
  • Wolfsburg Edition owners’ box, consisting of Volkswagen Keyholder, and Certificate of Authenticity
  • Volkswagen Universal Traffic Recorder 2.0 (UTR 2.0) dashcam

Specific to the Arteon R-LINE 4Motion are door trim LEDs with ‘VW’ logo light, ‘VW’ dynamic hubcaps, tailgate protective strip, and cargo elements with velcro fasteners on the boot floor mat.

The Tiguan Allspace also gains unique additions across both Elegance and R-Line variants, including the load edge protection for the cargo area, a boot tray, rugged-styled load edge protection for bumpers, smartphone holders and hooks to attach to the front seat headrests, and aluminium sports pedals (Elegance model only).

No performance changes are included with the Wolfsburg Edition model. That means the Arteon R-Line 4Motion will still be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that pumps out 280 hp and 350 Nm. It has all-wheel-drive via the 4Motion system with power coming through a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.

Meanwhile, the Tiguan Allspace Elegance Wolfburg Edition also retains the same 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder as before that pumps out 149 hp and 250 Nm. Power is sent through a six-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission to drive the front wheels.

The Tiguan Allspace R-Line 4Motion meanwhile comes equipped with a more powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four mill, sending 220 hp and 350 Nm to all four wheels courtesy of the 4Motion all-wheel drive system.

If you’ve been considering a Volkswagen, now might be the right moment – especially with the introduction special savings, making them even more affordable than their regular counterparts. The Wolfsburg Edition models aren’t just Volkswagen cars; they represent a piece of Volkswagen’s heritage in a thoughtfully crafted package that you can drive home.
