The Jetour T2, which is now open for booking in Malaysia ahead of a 2026 launch, has officially made its debut in Indonesia, making the archipelago the first market in Asia to launch the right-hand drive (RHD) variant, following the debut of the T2 in South Africa.

As reported by AutonetMagz, the Jetour T2 is offered in Indonesia in a single variant priced at IDR588 million (approx. RM146k), though a special promo price of IDR568 million (approx. RM141k) is available for the first 500 early-bird customers.

While the T2 has already been previewed locally, those preview units were of left-hand drive (LHD) nature. The official launch in Indonesia now gives us our best look yet at the finalised right-hand drive (RHD) specifications we can expect for the Malaysian market.

Powering the Jetour T2 in Indonesia is a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four engine, producing 245 hp and 375 Nm. This is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which sends power to an all-wheel drive (AWD) system.

Jetour calls it the “XWD intelligent drive system”, an on-demand all-wheel drive system that automatically switches between two- and four-wheel drive, and features eight selectable modes: Sports, Economy, Normal, Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock, and intelligent X Smart Mode.
