Carsome expands into new car sales – Neta X, Neta V now available online

Carsome, the home-grown used car e-commerce platform, is now expanding its offerings into new car sales, with a new partnership inked earlier today with Neta Auto Malaysia. With the partnership, the Neta X EV will now be listed for bookings directly on Carsome’s online platforms.

Aside from sales, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed today also establishes Carsome as the official trade-in partner for the Chinese EV marque here in Malaysia.

“With the Neta X EV listing on our platform and the partnership with Neta, Carsome is making a strategic entry into the EV and new car market, underscoring our commitment to providing sustainable and innovative automotive solutions,” said Carsome co-founder, Chairman, and Group CEO, Eric Cheng.

“This partnership not only diversifies our offerings but also enhances the car-buying experience, offering exclusive deals and comprehensive trade-in options that meet the evolving needs of our customers,” Cheng added.

In addition to online listings, customers will also be able to explore and interact with the Neta X at Carsome’s PJ Automall, with dedicated Neta customer consultants on site to assist customers.

The Neta V, launched in Malaysia late last year, will also be available on Carsome’s platform.

In conjunction with this weekend’s Carsome Autofair, the Neta GT will also be on display at PJ Automall, in addition to the V and X models. As the official trade-in partner, Carsome is also offering an additional RM1,500 discount for customers who trade in their old car when purchasing a new Neta vehicle.

Customers who purchase the Neta V through Carsome by 31 August 2024 will also be entitled to a lifetime warranty (terms and conditions apply), as well as additional perks worth RM23,300, inclusive of a home wall box charger or RM1,500 in charging credits, as part of a “special loyalty programme” valid for purchases before 31 July 2024.
