Klang Valley locals may have noticed that many Neta Auto showrooms within the region have shuttered their doors, including its flagship outlet in Ampang, and most recently its facility in Glenmarie. The closures have prompted questions online about Neta Auto Malaysia’s operation status within the country, but the company has now published a statement on its Facebook page, clarifying that the closures are part of the restructuring process it first announced in June this year.
The company reiterates that the closures “[do] not signal the end of Neta Auto Malaysia, nor does it affect our commitment to sales and after-sales support”, assuring its customers that all sales, after-sales, warranties, and spare parts support “remain intact and fully operational”.
On after-sales operations, Neta Auto Malaysia says that the Glenmarie service centre has been relocated to Accentra Glenmarie, which is a few kilometres away from the old outlet, rather than being shut down.
The new facility is now open and serving customers, although the statement does apologise to its customers for not communicating the relocation clearly, noting that it has since enhanced customer notification channels to improve transparency in these matters.

In the same vein, the company also reassures its customers that warranty coverage for all Neta vehicles remain valid and will be full honoured, while spare parts availability is “secure”, with stock managed at both Klang Valley and Seremban hubs. Customers can contact the company through its customer hotline and digital platforms for direct assistance.
The company also says that plans are in place for additional expansion for its dedicated service centres, while construction for its local assembly facility in Rembau – in partnership with NexV Manufacturing – is still ongoing.
“Despite challenges faced globally by our principal, Neta Auto Malaysia remains committed to this market,” the company says in the statement.
“Our D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) strategy will ensure better engagement, cost efficiency, and service delivery to customers nationwide. We remain in close contact with our principal to align with global directions, and any further developments or updates will be shared with our customers and stakeholders from time to time.”
