GWM Malaysia has just launched its all-electric sedan, the Ora 07. Offered in two variants, prices for the Ora 07 start at RM169,800.

In terms of dimensions, the Ora 07 measures 4,871 mm long, 1,862 mm wide, and 1,500 mm tall. This makes it just about the same size as the BYD Seal and the Tesla Model 3. Colour choices offered with the Ora 07 in Malaysia will include Amethyst grey, Crystal purple, and Jade white.
On the outside, the Ora 07 in Malaysia is equipped with features such as LED headlights, LED taillights, and a set of 19-inch alloy wheels. There is also an electrically retractable spoiler that is available for the Performance variant only.

Powering the Ora 07 Long Range in Malaysia is a single-motor front-wheel (FWD) drive electric motor that puts out 204 hp (metric) and 340 Nm. The Performance variant gets a more powerful dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup, producing 408 hp (metric) and 680 Nm. Both variants are equipped with the same 83.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, resulting in NEDC-rated all-electric ranges of 640 km and 550 km respectively.

In the safety department, the Ora 07 in Malaysia is equipped with a series of active safety features. This consists of features such as intelligent cruise control (ICC), traffic jam assist (TJA), lane keep assist (LKA), traffic sign recognition (TSR), and rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA).

Included with the Ora 07’s price tag is a 6-year/150,000 km full vehicle, along with an 8-year/180,000 km warranty that covers the battery, electric motor, and electric motor control unit. Additionally, there is also a 12-year warranty that covers the car’s rust and corrosion.
GWM Malaysia is also offering a one-to-one battery replacement if the battery’s state of charge (SOC) falls below 70%. The first 500 GWM Ora 07 customers will also get a complimentary home wall box charger and an additional 2-year warranty (adds up to an 8-year/180,000km warranty) full vehicle warranty, on top of the warranty package mentioned above. Existing GWM owners will receive an exclusive RM3,000 Loyalty Offer when they purchase a Ora 07.
