UMW Toyota sold 8,349 cars in July 2023, YTD sales now over 57k units

UMW Toyota Motor ended July 2023 with a total of 8,349 units sold in the month, comprising 8,200 units for Toyota and 149 units for Lexus. The figure represents a 25.8% year-on-year hike over the same period last year, and has also brought the company’s year-to-date sales total up to 57,008 units, or an increase of 8.5% from the previous year.

The company does not provide a per-model sales breakdown for its cars, although it does mention the expansion of its sales and service network, alongside its monthly promotions, that has made it “easier to purchase and own a Toyota”.

As part of its expansion, the Armada KK Automobile in Penampang, Sabah, has now been upgraded from a 1S to now a 3S centre, equipped with 18 service bays to cater to Toyota owners located in Penampang and the surrounding areas of Kota Kinabalu. The company also welcomed a new Toyota 4S centre with E.S. Yang Motor in Muar, Johor, offering up to 14 service bays and 20 body and paint bays for its customers.
