Hyundai announces exclusive service rebates for Ioniq owners in Malaysia



Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has announced a range of exclusive service privileges for Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid owners in Malaysia, including special discounts for aftersales services, plus a complimentary 20-point vehicle inspection.

Starting 1 October until 30 November 2021, all Hyundai Ioniq owners who send in their vehicles to any authorised Hyundai service centre will enjoy discounts of up to 25% on selected parts, and 10% on labour charges. The selected parts eligible for the 25% discount include gaskets, oil filters, air filters, spark plugs, and more.

In addition to the parts and labour charges discount, Hyundai Ioniq customers who are also members of the Hyundai Loyalty Card programme will also be entitled to exclusive monthly promotions, including 20% discounts on KLIMA Fresh and BlueChem products.

The Hyundai Loyalty Card is a complimentary programme for all Hyundai owners; customers can sign up for the card at any authorised Hyundai service centres nationwide.

Although HSDM has stopped retailing the current Ioniq Hybrid model, Managing Director Low Yuan Lung said that its customers are not forgotten. “We have a big customer base for the Ioniq. and we would like to continue to show our appreciation to our customers by offering them this special service privilege.”

The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid was first launched in Malaysia back in 2016, at an attractive price point due to its hybrid powertrain and local assembly of the model. Unlike other Hyundai models, the Ioniq only requires service every 15,000 km, or once in every nine months.
