UMW Toyota Motor has officially launched the all-new Toyota RAV4 in Malaysia. The fifth-generation Toyota RAV4 is available in two variants – a 2.0-litre and 2.5-litre variant priced at RM196,436 and RM215,665 respectively.
The all-new Toyota RAV4 is built on the same TNGA-K platform as the Toyota Camry with better visibility, a lower center of gravity, stiffer chassis, and rear trailing wishbone suspension for better stability.

On the inside of the fully-imported SUV from Japan are soft touch materials at all the vital touch points, with design elements unique only to the all-new Toyota RAV4. As a result of the TNGA philosophy, forward and side visibility has been improved with a lower belt line, narrower A-pillars and repositioned side mirrors.
Standard on-board features includes an OEM headunit unlike the third party ones found in the Corolla, dual zone air conditioning, Optitron instrument cluster with a 7-inch multi information display, jam protection windows in the front and back, 6-speakers, 60:40 split-folding seats, rear air con vents, and rear armrest with cupholders.
The all-new Toyota RAV4 also comes with a 2 stage floorboard in the boot with best-in-class storage capacity rated at 580 litres. The Mazda CX-5 is rated at 442 litres while the Honda CR-V is rated at 522-litres.
