In 2018, Volvo Cars set a new global sales record having sold over 600,000 vehicles for the first time since the company was founded in 1927.
The new milestone marks the fifth consecutive year of record global sales for Volvo Cars.
Volvo Car Malaysia also finished strong in 2018 with a total of 1,384 units delivered – up from 1,021 the year before.
Among the comprehensive range of Volvos, the XC60 launched in early 2018, was responsible in spearheading this success. The XC60 was also crowned 2018’s Car of the Year.
Locally, the XC60 was also awarded the Premium Mid-Sized SUV of Malaysia award at the 2018 Cars of Malaysia.
