Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia recently showcased three “Art Cars”, one Jaecoo J7 PHEV and two Jaecoo J5 units, during LahLahLand 2025 as the official automotive partner of the event.
In case you didn’t know, LahLahLand is a lifestyle festival evolved from Sneakerlah — the popular yearly lifestyle event known for streetwear and sneakers culture gatherings. The event features exclusive collaborations, product launches, influencer pre-loved markets, panel talks, esports tournaments, concerts, and more.
All three cars were uniquely wrapped to reflect the festival’s themes and fit within its creative direction. Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia said the goal for the liveries was to blur the “lines between automotive design and street style” and “reflect the dynamic themes of LahLahLand 2025”.
Executive Vice President of Chery Corporate Malaysia, Men Lin Bo said, “Omoda Jaecoo’s collaboration with LahLahLand was a celebration of individuality and movement. Both brands share a belief in creative self-expression and forward momentum — values that resonate with a new generation of users across Malaysia who see mobility not just as transportation, but as part of their lifestyle identity.”

Of the two cars shown, the Jaecoo J5 is perhaps of more interest as it’s set to be launched in Malaysia very soon. Previewed a few months ago at the Omoda Jaecoo Carnival event, the Jaecoo J5 sits as the smaller and more affordable sibling to the J7 SUV. It will feature a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 147 hp and 210 Nm to all four wheels (AWD) via a CVT gearbox.
As it’s still being previewed, the Jaecoo J5 is estimated to be priced around RM120,000, with bookings now open with a fee of RM1,000. If you’re interested in the larger hybrid sibling, the Jaecoo J7 PHEV is priced from RM158,000 on the road and without insurance.
