MINI Malaysia has introduced the all-new 2025 MINI 3-door John Cooper Works (JCW), which like the regular hatchback, is now available in both petrol or fully electric variants. Here, we have the dinosaur juice-powered JCW, and it is priced at RM330,988 on-the-road, without insurance, and comes inclusive of an extended warranty and service package.
Like all JCW models before it, the latest-generation 3-door JCW sports a more aggressive look, clearly marking it as the high-performance variant in the line-up. Key visual cues include sportier bumpers, a prominent rear wing, a centrally mounted exhaust pipe, and bold red accents that further enhance its sporty character.
Standard exterior features include Bi-LED light adaptive low-beam and high-beam headlights, LED cornering lights, Panoramic Sunroof, and Piano Black exterior trim. Completing the sporty nature of the MINI 3-door JCW are the 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels.
Moving inside, the black and red JCW theme continues. The sports seats are exclusive to JCW models only, while the dashboard has been decorated with a sporty chequered design, complementing the JCW-exclusive design strap on the steering wheel.

Speaking of the dashboard, it retains the same 240-millimetre circular OLED display as non-JCW models. However, it now features a dedicated JCW mode that displays performance-focused information such as speed, torque, G-force, and more. Other standard interior features include a head-up display, Harman Kardon sound system, projection lighting on the dashboard, and a wireless phone charging pad.
With the JCW name comes a significant power bump as well. The 2025 MINI 3-door JCW now produces 231 hp and 380 Nm from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Power is sent to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), which enables a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
The suspension has also been upgraded, with a new frequency-selective damper setup exclusively developed for the JCW for better road handling. Brakes has also been upgraded, alongside enhanced chassis stabiliser bars and wheel caster angle set-ups to give it the ultimate Go Kart Experience.

To keep this pocket rocket safe, MINI has made sure that the 3-door JCW is kitted out with a slew of safety features and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). This includes Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with stop & go function, Steering and lane control assistance, and Rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA), among others.
The 2025 MINI 3-Door JCW is priced from RM318,888 on-the-road and without insurance. With the added extended warranty and service package, the price is increased to RM330,988. MINI’s extended warranty package includes four years of unlimited mileage warranty coverage, four years/60,000 km service inclusive, and five years of MINI roadside assistance.
