All new electric MINI JCW Aceman now available in Malaysia from RM241k

MINI Malaysia has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) lineup with the launch of the first-ever performance EV SUV under the John Cooper Works (JCW) badge – the all-new electric MINI JCW Aceman. Priced at RM 241,288 (inclusive of BMW’s extended warranty and service package), this new model brings a sportier and more performance-focused twist to MINI’s growing EV range. Along with this, MINI Malaysia has also launched the all-new MINI three-door JCW.

To make sure your investment in the JCW badge is obvious at first glance, MINI has given the JCW Aceman several exclusive visual upgrades:

  • Front grille finished in high-gloss black
  • Chili Red accents on the roof, the side mirrors, brake callipers, and bonnet stripes.
  • New sportier side skirts
  • gloss black wheel arches
  • New rear spoiler

Inside, the red on black theme continues. The dashboard now features a black and red chequered pattern, replacing the abstract design found in the standard version. The seats are finished in a mix of black synthetic leather and multicoloured knitted fabric.

One standout feature is the exclusive JCW sports steering wheel, which includes the John Cooper Works badge at its base. Red contrast stitching is used extensively across the steering wheel and throughout the cabin, reinforcing the car’s sporty identity.

Adding to the driving experience is a dedicated JCW Mode within the round central instrument display. Along with the new sportier interface design, it displays various performance figures such as speed, torque, power retrieval in kW, and g-force.

The all-new MINI JCW Aceman delivers 258 hp (190 kW) and 350 Nm of torque, up from 218 hp (160 kW) and 330 Nm in the standard variant. Power is delivered to the front wheels via a single electric motor. This setup allows the JCW Aceman to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds, with a top speed of 200 km/h.

Under the floor sits a 54.2 kWh battery, which offers a range of 355 km (WLTP) on a full charge. For fast charging, the JCW Aceman supports DC charging at up to 95 kW, allowing it to go from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Alternatively, an 11 kW AC charger will charge it up from 0% to 100% in five hours and 30 minutes.

The MINI JCW Aceman starts at RM 233,888 (on the road without insurance and with road tax exemption), representing only a slight premium over the base model. For added peace of mind, MINI offers an extended warranty and service package priced at RM 7,400, bringing the total to RM 241,288.
