MINI Malaysia is galloping into 2026 with the launch of the new limited edition 2026 MINI Countryman S Fiery Stallion Edition. Limited to 18 units nationwide, this exclusive locally assembled Countryman is priced at RM260,888 on the road without insurance.
For those perplexed by the… imaginative motif, the Fiery Stallion Edition was created to commemorate the Year of the Horse of the Chinese calendar, specifically the fire horse, which only occurs once every 60 years.
Channelling the zodiac’s “strength, energy and unstoppable momentum”, the Countryman S Fiery Stallion Edition stands out with its bold colours, courtesy of the bright Chilli Red II paint job paired with a Vibrant Silver roof that actually looks remarkably like gold.
Paired to the custom emblem on the front grille in the silhouette of a horse, the fire horse decal on the sides, and a horse shoe on the fuel filler flap that symbolises good fortune, the Fiery Stallion Edition comes with just enough flair to make it the perfect ride for the upcoming Chinese New Year (CNY) festivities in February 2026.

Inside, the door kick plates feature an exclusive ‘Fiery Stallion Edition’ inscription and are numbered 1/18. This is an auspicious nod to the ‘118’ motif, which, when pronounced in Chinese, sounds similar to prosperity and new beginnings. Even the key fob of the MINI Countryman S Fiery Stallion Edition is customised, featuring a debossed fiery stallion silhouette.
Other interior trimmings include JCW sport seats in Vescin Beading faux leather upholstery, a 9.4-inch circular OLED infotainment display, and a heads-up display with support for augmented reality (AR) navigation.
Beyond the CNY-inspired exclusive touches, the special edition model inherits the same equipment and powertrain as the standard petrol-powered Countryman S All4. The latter consists of a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder under the bonnet, which makes 204 hp and 300 Nm. All of the horses are sent to an all-wheel drive setup via a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, which enables 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and a top speed of 228 km/h.
