MINI Malaysia has launched the all-new 2025 MINI 3-Door John Cooper Works (JCW). The new hot hatch from MINI is available in two versions: petrol and all-electric (EV). The all-electric MINI 3-Door JCW is priced at RM225,188, and the petrol variant priced at RM330,988 on-the-road, without insurance, including the extended warranty and service package. In addition, MINI Malaysia has also launched the MINI JCW Aceman and the MINI Convertible.
Compared to the standard MINI Cooper 3-Door, which sports a simple and somewhat cute design, the MINI 3-Door JCW is like a teenager going through a rebellious phase, marked by its more aggressive styling at both the front and rear. Standard exterior equipment includes:
- 18-inch “John Cooper Works Lap Spoke” two-tone alloy wheels with sport tyres
- John Cooper Works design
- Piano black exterior trim
- Red roof with sport stripes
- Bi-LED light adaptive low-beam and high-beam headlights
- LED cornering light
- Three modes of light signature

- Rear camera cleaning system
Inside the cabin, you will be greeted with the familiar MINI Cooper interior, but this one is finished in black with red accents for the sporty look. The seats and steering wheel are unique to JCW models and they pay homage to MINI’s racing heritage. Boot space on the MINI 3-Door JCW is rated at 210 litres and can be expanded to 725 litres on the petrol variant and 800 litres on the EV variant. Powering the pocket rocket is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four cylinder that makes 231 hp and 380 Nm of torque. This is mated to a seven speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) that drives the front wheels. If you are expecting a variant with three-pedals, sorry to disappoint, because the new MINI JCW 3-Door is only offered exclusively with a DCT here.
This powertrain allows the MINI 3-Door JCW to sprint to 100 km/h from a standstill in 6.1 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 250 km/h.
For the EV variant, it is powered by a front-mounted electric motor that produces 258 hp (190 kW) and 350 Nm. This enables the EV MINI 3-Door JCW to sprint to 100km/h from a standstill faster than its petrol-powered sibling in 5.9 seconds with a lower top speed of 200 km/h.
The electric motor is paired to a 54.2 kWh battery pack with a net capacity of 49.2 kWh. This enables a range of 363 km to 371 km (WLTP). Charging is supported with AC charging at 11 kW and DC charging at 95 kW. The latter enables a 10% to 80% recharge in 30 minutes.
In terms of safety systems, the hot hatch is equipped with a suite of advance driver assistance systems (ADAS). This includes features like:
- Adaptive cruise control (ACC) with stop & go function
- Steering and lane control assistance
- Rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA)
- Exit warning
- Park Assist
- Reversing assistant

The MINI 3-Door JCW is priced at RM330,988 inclusive of the extended warranty and service package worth RM12,100. This includes a four-year unlimited milage warranty and a four-year or 60,000 km extended service package. Without the extended warranty and service package, the MINI 3-Door JCW is priced at RM318,888.
