Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia opens new Shah Alam parts warehouse to boost aftersales service

The recently-rebranded Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia has announced an expansion to its aftersales services facilities, including the opening of a new parts warehouse to help ensure seamless aftersales support for customers nationwide.

Located in the Hicom Industrial Estate in Shah Alam, the new warehouse is owned and operated by parent company Chery Corporate Malaysia, and boasts a built-up area of 88,000 sq. ft. – more than double the previous facility – to serve its portfolio of brands.

Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia says in a press release that the new warehouse currently houses approximately 10,000 parts for all Omoda Jaecoo models in the country. Additionally, a stockpile of parts for iCaur vehicles are also already present at the warehouse, in anticipation of the brand’s debut model, the iCaur 03, which is slated to launch in Q3 2025.

Commenting on the opening of the new facility, Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia Vice President, Emily Lek, said, “The centrally located Chery Corporate Malaysia Warehouse is pivotal in supporting our growing dealership network while upholding the premium aftersales service standards our customers expect.”

“Beyond vibrant customer touchpoints, it’s essential that our network dynamically supports the aftersales needs of our expanding customer base. The new warehouse positions Omoda Jaecoo to grow alongside the Malaysian market, and supports our expanding export business in the ASEAN region,” she added.

Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia’s dealership network currently has 45 outlets nationwide providing sales and aftersales services. Meanwhile, iCaur has recently announced 11 new partner dealers, with further expansion planned across the country.
