All new Chery cars will now be fitted with Touch ’n Go RFID

Chery Corporate Malaysia and Touch ‘n Go have signed a strategic collaboration agreement that will see all new vehicles from Chery, Omoda Jaecoo, and iCaur fitted with RFID at the point of sale nationwide.

This initiative reflects Chery’s support for Touch ‘n Go’s push towards a seamless tolling experience. RFID is compatible with future Single Lane Fast Flow (SLFF) and Multi-lane Fast Flow (MLFF) systems, effectively positioning it as a key enabler for the barrierless tolling systems expected to be introduced in the near future.

Chery has delivered over 30,073 vehicles nationwide through a growing network of nearly 60 dealerships and after-sales outlets across Malaysia. Omoda Jaecoo recorded 17,849 units in 2025 alone, representing over 150% year‑on‑year growth

In the joint press release, Chery Corporate Malaysia and Touch ‘n Go said they will collaborate on upcoming marketing campaigns aimed at increasing public awareness, understanding, and usage of RFID.
