Many of us know the Ora Good Cat as a quirky little cute EV and now GWM has decided to transform their harmless cute kitten into a spicy Maine Coon with the release of the Ora Good Cat GT.
Starting with the design, it is apparent that this model is the sportier model with its cosmetic upgrades. The Good Cat GT comes in a cool black and yellow theme that gives it a demure yet playful vibe.
It is given a new sportier front and rear bumper design that is fitted with carbon fibre-like touches for the front lip and rear diffuser. The rims are upgraded to 18-inches with a new design and yellow brake calipers – just like a Lamborghini.
Inside, the Good Cat GT features a dual-tone interior with the same black and yellow treatment. It is fitted with sports seats with the GT logo embossed on both the driver and passenger seats and is upholstered in an Alcantara-like material which can also be seen on the dashboard and door cards.

As for performance figures, official information is scarce so speculation for the Good Cat GT will have to come from Thailand which already has this model.
According to the Thai spec sheets, power is increased to 169 hp and 250 Nm in contrast to 141 hp and 210 Nm of the regular Good Cat. It will be fitted with a 57.7 kWh lithium-ion phosphate battery that is good for 460 km of range via the NEDC standard – 20 km shy of the standard variant.

In Thailand, the Ora Good Cat GT starts at 1,099,000 Thai Baht (approx. RM 145k). With the Good Cat 400 Ultra starting at RM113,800 and the Good Cat 500 Ultra starting at RM 143,800 in Malaysia, the Good Cat GT seems like a bargain with more power.
As these speculations are coming from the Thai Market, we must wait a little longer to get the full picture. The Malaysian model might have slight differences in features, specs, and price so stay tuned with us to get the full picture.
