BMW Group Malaysia, in partnership with its authorised dealers and charge point operators (CPO), has unveiled four new EV charging facilities across Klang Valley, Negeri Sembilan, and Pahang. These chargers, as with more than 100 other BMW and MINI chargers in its network, are open to all electric vehicles, with the majority of them accessible to the public via the respective CPO’s mobile applications.
In Klang Valley, the new locations are The Curve shopping centre in Mutiara Damansara (B1 parking), and Imperial Lexis in Kuala Lumpur. The former, established in partnership with Quill Automobiles and ChargeSini, sports two 47 kW DC chargers and are priced at RM1.39/kWh, while the latter, in partnership with Millenium Welt and ChargeSini, features three 22 kW AC chargers with a charging rate starting from RM1.00/kWh.
For Negeri Sembilan, the new chargers are located at the CMH Specialist Hospital in Seremban, set up in partnership with Millennium Welt. The location will feature two BMW i Wallbox chargers outputting 7.4 kW of AC power, providing complimentary charging for hospital staff.

As for Pahang, Zenith Hotel Kuantan is now equipped with a 160 kW DC fast charger, priced at RM1.69/kWh, courtesy of the partnership with Millennium Welt Kuantan and EL Charge.
“By introducing more state-of-the-art charging facilities across the country, we are emphasising our commitment to an electrified future for Malaysia, which has also been well-represented by the rapid unveiling of more fully electrified models from both BMW and MINI within just the first half of 2024,” commented BMW Group Malaysia Managing Director, Benjamin Nagel.
Nagel adds, “As the number one premium electric vehicle provider in Malaysia, we believe that these facilities do more than serve our customers; they form the backbone of a nation moving towards embracing comprehensive Electrified Mobility.”
Through its strategic partnerships with the various EV charging providers in Malaysia, the company says it now offers over 2,020 charging facilities for EV owners here so far, with more to come as part of its strategic infrastructure expansion plan set for the year ahead.
