BMW EV charging hub at The Exchange TRX now open – 13 chargers, up to 22kW, RM0.25/min



BMW Group Malaysia has partnered with Gentari, through the latter’s subsidiary Gentari Green Mobility, to open its latest electric vehicle (EV) charging facility at The Exchange TRX. Located within the basement car park of the shopping mall, the EV charging facility features a total of 13 charging units that can provide up to 22 kW of AC charging rates.

Among the 13 charging units mentioned, 5 charging units are available at the Premium Parking Level, while the remaining 8 units are housed at Level B1. The BMW EV charging facility at The Exchange TRX is open to all EVs from 10 AM to 10 PM daily. Charging rates are priced at RM0.25/minute.

BMW Group Malaysia Managing Director Benjamin Nagel said, “The growth in regard to Malaysia’s reception of electromobility, especially in the most populated areas of the country, has been thriving – and to this end it is more vital than ever to ensure robust EV charging infrastructure is in place to accommodate this heartening maturation.”
