MG Cyberster EV roadster launched in Thailand, approx. RM324k – Malaysia launch soon?

MG has launched its all-electric roadster, the MG Cyberster in Thailand. Offered in a sole all-wheel drive (AWD) variant, the Cyberster is priced at 2.5 million baht (approx. RM324,240).

On the outside, the MG Cyberster is fitted with standard features such as LED headlights, LED taillights, and a staggered 20-inch alloy wheel setup with the front tyres measuring 245/40/R20 and the rear tyres 275/35/R20. Also included are a set of red callipers and the supercool supercar-like scissor doors.

Powering the MG Cyberster in Thailand is an all-wheel drive (AWD) electric motor setup that puts out 544 hp (metric) and 725 Nm. This allows the all-electric roadster to sprint from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and achieve a top speed of 200 km/h.

Thanks to a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is IP67-rated for water and dust resistance, the Cyberster is capable of travelling up to 503 km (NEDC) on a single charge. It can also be charged via DC charging at a maximum rate of 140 kW, allowing its battery to be charged from 10 to 80% in 26 minutes.
