The Corolla Cross GR Sport is based on the 1.8-litre non-hybrid version of the Corolla Cross with 139 hp and 172 Nm. The engine is paired with a seven-speed CVT gearbox with sequential shiftmatic. Other mechanical upgrades include a sports ECU for the electronic power steering, specially-tuned stiffer front and rear suspension and a special performance brace for the chassis.

On the outside, the Corolla Cross GR Sport distinguishes itself with a two-tone colour scheme where the roof, side mirrors and rear spoiler are finished in black. Aside from that, the Corolla Cross GR Sport also receives a revised front and rear bumper design along with a redesigned front grille and 18-inch GR Sport Design wheels.

The Corolla Cross GR Sport is available in Platinum White Pearl, Nebula Blue Metallic and Red Mica Metallic. Standard kit includes bi-LED head, LED taillamps and hands-free powered tailgate.

Inside, GR Sport items include a push-start button with GR logo, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearknob with red stitiching, GR logo embossed on the seats with red stitching and GR design carpets. Standard equipment includes a nine-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster display, eight-way powered driver seat, and single-zone air conditioning.

For safety, the Corolla Cross GR Sport comes with seven airbags, blindspot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and the Toyota Safety Sense system featuring dynamic radar cruise control, pre-collision braking, lane departure warning with steering assist, lane tracing assist and automatic high beam.
