Toyota has launched the new facelift Toyota Camry starting from RM199,109, with significant additions and changes to the car.
For starters, it comes with a new Dynamic Force engine and a new 8-speed transmission, away from the previous 6-speed unit. The 2.5-litre engine now puts out 209 hp and 253 Nm to drive the front wheels.
Outside, changes include revisions to the front grille and bumper, a different 18-inch wheel design, and a darker shade of red for the taillights. The revisions are subtle but when compared to the pre-facelift Camry, the new look is less aggressive, more elegant.
Inside, the Camry comes with a larger 9-inch infotainment display, new centre console and door trims, and 3-zone air conditioning, 10-way powered driver seat in replacement of the previous 8-way unit. Standard features include a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a head-up display, and wireless charging.
The most incredible upgrade in the facelift Camry where the rear armrest now comes with controls for the air-con, radio, and seat-reclining feature. Sadly, the control panel on the rear armrest does not offer air-con fan speed controls. The rear seats are also reclinable!
