Yeap, that pun was most definitely intended. In the last two years or so, Mitsubishi’s social media channels – whether on Facebook or Instagram – have been quite vibrant with gorgeous pictures and exciting videos and their most recent posting on Instagram featuring the Triton certainly deserves a mention.
The Triton Athlete was previously featured in a Facebook video, with Leona Chin behind the wheel, powering through multiple sections of the Shah Alam Stadium as if it were a playground. This time, it’s a little different.
With the Triton Athlete in a static position, this time it was the photographer Aereon Wong, who was moving around in what is known as ‘light painting’ and the results look simply incredible! Check out the Instagram Reel here!
The Triton Athlete is available in White Diamond (as per video), Jet Black Mica and Sun Flare Orange. Complementing those colours and the Triton Athlete decals are 18-inch blacked-out wheels. As part of the Triton Athlete look, the door handles, wing mirror housing, side steps, aero door visors, and rear bumpers have also been blacked-out.
The Mitsubishi Triton Athlete goes for RM141,500 and is powered by a 2.4-litre MIVEC turbo diesel engine with 181 hp and 430 Nm to power all four wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox.
