Mitsubishi Xforce hits 1,000 bookings before April launch – early bird deals extended to next 1,000 units

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has announced that the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce has now already garnered over 1,000 bookings, a milestone achieved within just one week of the pre-launch booking period opening. Slated to make its official market debut in early April 2026, the Xforce will be available in two variants, Urban and Ultimate, with estimated prices of RM110,000 and RM120,000, respectively.

Building on this momentum, the company will be extending its exclusive early bird package to the next 1,000 customers who book their Mitsubishi Xforce before the launch. The package includes a RM5,000 cash rebate, three free labour services, and an entry into a “Buy 1 Free 1” contest, where one lucky owner stands a chance to win another unit of the Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate.

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia Chief Executive Officer, Takashi Sakamaki, said, “We are truly grateful for the tremendous response to the Mitsubishi Xforce. Achieving over 1,000 bookings within just one week is a strong testament to the confidence Malaysians have in our brand and in this exciting new SUV. The extension of our early bird package is our way of thanking customers for their trust and enthusiasm.”

Set to enter the competitive B-segment SUV market here in Malaysia, the Mitsubishi Xforce will compete against the likes of the Proton X50, Perodua Traz, and the Honda HR-V. It measures 4,390 mm long, 1,810 mm wide, and 1,660 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm, making the Xforce pretty much the largest SUV among its competitors.

The exterior adopts a rugged aesthetic incorporating Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield design language. This is highlighted by T-shaped lighting elements for the headlights and daytime running lights. The theme is mirrored at the rear, which also features a black tailgate spoiler.

Inside, the Mitsubishi Xforce offers black anti-heat leatherette upholstery and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment display as standard. The system supports wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Practical features include an eight-step reclining rear seat and a two-tier rear cargo area providing 410 litres of space. The cabin also has 23 storage compartments, including a chilled centre console.

The range-topping Ultimate variant adds a stain-resistant Melange Weave fabric dashboard covering, a first for the brand, complemented by Mocha accents on the upholstery. It also features a larger 12.3-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Nanoe X air purifier, and an upgraded eight-speaker premium Yamaha sound system.

Paying homage to the Mitsubishi Pajero, this larger display incorporates various off-road themes such as a digital compass, elevation visualiser, and tilt angle gauge. Drivers can also toggle between four specific drive modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud. Rounding out the interior highlights are ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a wireless charging pad.

Powering the Mitsubishi Xforce is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine producing 105 hp and 141 Nm. This is paired with a CVT gearbox driving the front wheels. Fuel consumption is rated at 5.6 L/100km according to the Malaysian Driving Cycle (MDC).

The Mitsubishi Xforce also features the marque’s Active Yaw Control (AYC) system. It boasts a ground clearance of 222 mm, which MMM describes as best in class. Its off-road capabilities include an approach angle of 21 degrees and a departure angle of 30.5 degrees.

Standard safety equipment includes four airbags and an integrated front driving recorder. The Xforce carries a five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating and comes equipped with blind spot monitors, rear-cross traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors.

The Ultimate variant adds on the Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing suite. This ADAS suite includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lead car departure notification, automatic high beam, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. It also includes a 360-degree surround view monitor.
