2022 Aston Martin V12 Vantage teased, open for booking

Aston Martin has now put a face to the melodic V12 soundtrack it sent out last week, albeit just a teaser.

In the lone image of the V12 Vantage, the beautiful sports car seems to have subtle updates to differentiate itself as the range-topping variant. The front has an even larger opening than the Vaned front grille shown here in this red example. A deeper aerodynamic splitter is also paired with the exclusive V12 variant.

No mention of the details of the V12 power plant, but some news portals suspect Aston Martin will continue to offer the engine from the V12 Speedster with just mild tweaks to the outputs of 700 hp and 753 Nm of torque. The twin-turbocharged 5.2-litre twelve-cylinder engine first-served duties in the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera.

Paired to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and has its exhaust outlets centrally aligned, the windscreen-less Aston Martin V12 Speedster sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, just a tenth faster than the series-production Vantage V8 with 510 hp and 685 Nm of torque.

However, the big V12 engine is not only the highlight, as Aston Martin is reportedly placing lightweight carbon-fibre body panels on the V12 Vantage model. A thoroughly reworked chassis is also part of the appeal of the new flagship model.

Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur already sold two units of the Valhalla! More on the new hybrid supercar here.

The accompanying image also leads interested parties to drop their contact information for the local distributors, such as Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur to get to know each other better. This is the final Vantage with an engine, plus a melodic one too, as the boss of the company has stated the next-generation models are going full electric.
