BMW M135i xDrive “Street Racer” Edition revealed in Japan, limited to 40 units

Come the 9th of September, BMW Japan will put for sale on their online store 40 units of the M135i xDrive hot hatch aptly named the “Street Racer” edition.

Prices start from 6.9 million yen (approximately RM265k) and you get a fair bit of kit. For starters, it comes with an M Performance Package which includes black mirror caps, black mesh kidney grille, black exhaust tips, 18-inch style 554 M rims in Orbit Grey. The Street Racer is only available with a Alpin White exterior.

That’s not all, the boy racer look would not be complete without the roof spoiler, front splitter, side skirts also from M Performance. Sure doesn’t look like it’s trying too hard there.

The M135i xDrive is priced at RM355,646, inclusive of SST exemptions. It’s powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission with 306 hp and 450 Nm to drive all four wheels.

0 to 100 km/h is done in 4.5 seconds, with top speed limited to 250 km/h.
