2026 Jetour T1 launched in Malaysia – 2 variants including 2.0L AWD, from RM130k

Jetour Auto Malaysia has launched the all-new Jetour T1 in Malaysia. Two locally assembled (CKD) variants are available, with prices starting from RM129,800, excluding registration fee, hire purchase processing and inspection fee, road tax, and insurance.

Measuring 4,785 mm long, 2,006 mm wide, and 1,875 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. The Jetour T1 is slightly smaller than the Jetour T2 despite both SUVs sharing an identical 2,800 mm wheelbase.

While the Jetour T1 shares several design cues with the T2—such as the signature square headlights and the tailgate featuring a prominent “JETOUR” wordmark flanked by square taillights—it adopts a more conventional SUV aesthetic. Its styling is noticeably less rugged than its sibling, characterised by smoother body lines that provide a more contemporary look.

Stepping up to the Jetour T1 2.0L TGDi XWD adds the following exterior equipment:

The interior of the Jetour T1 is nearly identical to the one found in the Jetour T2, featuring a vertical dashboard with large air vents, whereas the centre console features a large gear shift lever. The only difference is the layout of the row of physical controls located right below the centre infotainment display, which on the T2 is located below the centre aircon vents.

The Jetour T1 is available in two powertrains. The 1.5L TGDi 2WD variant is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that makes 170 hp and 270 Nm. This is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) that sends power to the front wheels and returns a claimed fuel consumption of 6.8 L/100 km.

Stepping up to the 2.0L TGDi XWD sees the T1 powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 245 hp and 375 Nm. This is also paired to a seven-speed DCT, which sends the 245 horses to an all-wheel drive setup and returns a slightly worse fuel consumption of 7.6 L/100 km.

For safety features, the Jetour T1 is equipped with six airbags and a suite of ADAS features. These include:

The Jetour T1 is available in four exterior colours. These are Khaki White, Aviation Silver, Sand Gold, and Carbon Black.

Priced at RM129,800, excluding registration fee, hire purchase processing and inspection fee, road tax, and insurance. The Jetour T1 comes with a seven-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty, a 10-year/1,000,000 km engine warranty, and five complimentary maintenance services. In conjunction with the launch of the Jetour T1, Jetour Auto Malaysia is offering an exclusive rebate of RM2,000 and a special financing rate from 1.68% for the first 2,000 customers.
