Selected BMW service centres now back in operation during CMCO

Following the commencement of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) from the 4th of May, BMW Group Malaysia has announced that selected BMW service centres have now resumed operation. The service centres will be operating on an appointment-only basis during the CMCO period.

The company reassures that the health and safety of its customers is of utmost importance. Strict hygiene measures are in place at all operating premises, in line with requirements introduced by the Ministry of Health.

All individuals – including employees – entering BMW service centres will be subject to temperature screening. Customers or staff with flu-like symptoms will not be allowed into the premise.

Social distancing measures will also be implemented at the premises, maintaining a minimum of 1 metre distance between individuals at all time. Last but not least, all touch points in the premises will be disinfected daily.

BMW Malaysia did not mention the resumption of operations for sales outlets in this statement, though BMW authorised dealer Auto Bavaria has announced separately that it has also resumed its sales operations since the 4th of May 2020.

In any case, customers can still shop for a BMW through the recently-introduced BMW Shop Online and BMW Engage services. As part of the Unplug & Play campaign, the BMW 530 e Sport and 530 e M Sport are available with interest rates starting from 0%, and cash rebates of RM10,000 and RM20,000 respectively.

To celebrate the launch of the new online platform, all purchases made through the BMW Shop Online can also stand a chance to win a brand-new BMW i8 Coupe.
