At long last, after a 30-year absence, the BMW 8-series is back and for the Malaysian market, we’ll only get it in a single variant – the 850i xDrive.

Yours for RM1,008,800 (OTR without insurance), it’s hard not to imagine the 850i xDrive looking as beautiful on the move as it is graceful being stationary.

While it may not posses the drama of the First Edition 850i xDrive, or the other 850i xDrive that’s made of materials from out of this world, its hunkered down stance should stop pedestrians in their tracks and sprain necks along the way.

Under the hood of the new BMW 850i xDrive is a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 shared with the current BMW M5 with 530 hp and 750 Nm of torque.
