2025 BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport official pricing announced – RM349k with 5yr warranty and service

BMW Malaysia has revealed the official pricing for the recently unveiled G45-generation 2025 BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport. Available as a locally assembled (CKD) model, the X3 20 xDrive M Sport is priced at RM348,700 on-the-road, without insurance and inclusive of the BMW Service and Repair Inclusive (BSRI) package.

The official pricing is just a smidge short of BMW Malaysia’s estimate of RM349,000 when the company unveiled the SUV at the MY BMW World event, and is RM10,200 more expensive than the previous BMW X3 sDrive20i Final Edition.

For the extra RM10,200, the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport is equipped with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive (AWD) system, which marks the first time a 20-series model is equipped with this drivetrain in Malaysia.

This is supplemented with a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 48V mild hybrid technology, producing 190 hp and 310 Nm that is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. In performance terms, 0-100 km/h sprint is done in 8.5 seconds, onward to a top speed of 215 km/h.

Eagle-eyed readers will notice the missing “i” suffix from the variant name of the X3. This is a naming change strategy made by BMW where internal combustion-powered cars will now omit the “i” suffix in its naming, with the suffix reserved solely for its EV models.

Aside from a new naming convention, the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport features an exterior design that is much cleaner and minimalist than the previous X3 sDrive20i Final Edition.

This can be seen with slimmer LED headlights and a front bumper that now features a more subtle look, where the prominent cutouts found on the previous model are now replaced with a smaller design.

Similarly, the back of the X3 20 xDrive M Sport design also mirrors the cleaner look seen on its EV cousins, like the BMW iX and iX2, with slimmer taillights that are housed in a much cleaner tailgate.

Inside the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport, it features a BMW Curved Display, which integrates a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster under a single pane of glass, both running on BMW Operating System 9.

The minimalism extends to the centre console where the gear shift lever is now replaced with a toggle switch for gear selection, alongside a rotary dial to control the infotainment system. For practicality, the boot space is rated at 570 litres and can be expanded to 1,700 litres with the rear seats folded.

For safety systems, the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport is equipped with BMW’s Driving Assistant Plus suite of ADAS features. These include adaptive cruise control with stop-go functionality, lane change warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and evasion assistant.

Inclusive of the BSRI package, which includes a five-year unlimited mileage warranty and five-year or 100,000 km of service coverage, the BMW X3 20 xDrive M Sport is priced at RM348,700. Excluding the BSRI programme sees the sticker price of the X3 20 xDrive M Sport reduced to RM320,800.
