This Range Rover Sentinel can jump, swim and survive gun shots

Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations recently revealed the Range Rover Sentinel and if you have murderous enemies out to get you, it’s a fitting addition to the garage of your fortress.

First of all, it’s lined with armoured plates and glass and despite carrying more than one tonne of that material, it can still sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.4 seconds with top speed reduced to just 193 km/h.

The Sentinel is also fortified with under-floor and roof blast-protection to even withstand unconventional attacks such as improvised explosive device (IED) blasts, which as a result, bumped up its total weight to 4,400 kg.

No matter; as the Sentinel is fitted with upgraded suspension to sustain jumps, improved brake system and is capable of submerging into 850 mm of water.

If you want to know what it’s like to be Barack Obama, there are also siren and emergency lighting packs available.

The Sentinel is home to a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine that has been given a power bump from 380 hp to 420 hp.
