Hyundai has been making huge waves lately and for the most part, they’re proper reasons for the mind to surf. It recently unveiled the high performance Veloster N and suggested that it could be making a two-seater hybrid sportscar.
Now, they’ve unveiled the first facts about the fourth-generation Santa Fe which will make its world premiere in February before being debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The new generation Santa Fe will be packed with Hyundai’s latest active safety features offered by the Smart Sense technology. The innovative and industry-first Rear Occupant Alert will be tasked to monitor the rear seats to detect passengers and alert the driver when leaving the car.
Its Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning has also been enhanced by an automated braking function. To avoid the risk of collision when reversing out of narrow areas with limited visibility, the system will warn the driver and is capable of applying the brakes automatically. In other news, Hyundai also made headlines recently having developed the world’s first panoramic roof airbag.
