Kia pitched the all-new Kia Forte against an Aventador on track! [+Video]

Kia Motors America took their newly introduced all-new K3 Kia Forte (also called as Cerato in Malaysia) onto track and pitted it against its not-so-direct rival, the Lamborghini Aventador.

No, they did not pitch the two in a drag race because the raging bull packs a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 with over 700 hp. The Forte, on the other hand, has one-third of the cylinder count with a 2,000cc displacement paired to a CVT with a fancy name – Intelligent Variable Transmission. Well, let’s just say it’s not your typical kind of head-to-head.

It’s refreshing to see Kia embracing some humour to promote their new compact sedan and at the same time showcasing some of its key features and practicality. The new Forte features a stiffer body overall (16 percent), improved NVH and a more efficient powertrain. Safety features are also abundant with Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) and Smart Cruise Control (SCC).
