As the title clearly depicts, locally assembled Mazda3 will arrive as early as end-April or early May, and we were informed by a reliable source from Mazda Bermaz Motor that the Mazda3 will come in two body forms – sedan and hatchback. It seems like they’re sticking to the same strategy of putting a fixed price for both variants, just like the Mazda2.
The CBU version of the Mazda3 2.0L Skyactiv-G is currently sold at RM139k, but many remain undeterred despite its pricing being on the higher side of the scale, or so we’re told. For those who’ve been eagerly waiting for this piece of info, the Mazda3 CKD from Kulim, Kedah will be priced at RM119k – a whopping RM20,000 cheaper, although there’s no mention of omitting its equipment (like the sunroof) to offset the lower price tag. We can however, expect Mazda to throw in a bit more goodies, but it’s only a matter of time before we know what’s for sure.
