Jetour Auto Malaysia has announced that bookings are now open for the upcoming Jetour T2. Interested customers can place a booking at Jetour showrooms nationwide at a booking fee of RM1,000. The Jetour T2 carries an estimated price of RM178,888 and is slated for launch in the first quarter of 2026.
Previously previewed at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, the Jetour T2 is a large SUV measuring in at 4,785 mm long, 2,006 mm wide, and 1,875 mm tall, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase. This makes the SUV comparable in size to the GWM Tank 300.
The Jetour T2 in Malaysia will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, producing 245 hp and 375 Nm. It will be paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). While the drivetrain configuration hasn’t been officially revealed, based on global specifications, the Jetour T2 is expected to have a four-wheel drive (4WD) system.
The Jetour T2 will also come with an X-Intelligent drive mode, allowing it to adapt to various terrains and driving conditions, suggesting the availability of terrain-specific drive modes.
Inside, the Jetour T2 is equipped with a 15.6-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The driver gets a separate 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Other interior features include a 12-speaker Sony sound system.
For safety, the Jetour T2 comes equipped with six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and a suite of ADAS features. While Jetour Auto Malaysia hasn’t disclosed the exact ADAS features, global specifications of the T2 include adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and rear collision warning.
In related news, Jetour Auto Malaysia is introducing a nationwide year-end promotion for the Jetour Dashing and VT9. The promotion runs from now until December 25th, 2025, offering savings of up to RM12,000, which includes one year of complimentary car insurance, RM2,000 in petrol vouchers, and six months of free instalments for the Jetour Dashing and Jetour VT9. Customers who register their Jetour Dashing and VT9 by 31st December 2025 will receive an additional RM2,000 worth of Jetour ecological products.
