Following the unveil of the 2025 BYD Seal facelift’s exterior design, BYD has now revealed the new cabin design of the 2025 BYD Seal. The most striking update here is the new Coral Orange colour scheme and the revised dashboard that adopts a new flat panel design.
The new flat panel dashboard design also reworks the air vents in the BYD Seal. Previously organic-like, the new dashboard hides its air conditioning vents for a sleeker overall look. The digital instrument cluster is also now better integrated into the dashboard, foregoing its “floating screen design” in the outgoing iteration.

Also updated in the BYD Seal is its steering wheel. Still a 4-spoke design, the bottom spokes are now spread further apart from each other. To flow better with the new dashboard, the door panels of the new 2025 BYD Seal also have been reworked. With only official images shared by BYD’s official Weibo account, the operating system of the head unit also appears to have been updated.
With both the exterior and interior design of the BYD Seal revealed, the market launch of the 2025 BYD Seal facelift can be expected to take place soon. In fact, according to a report by CarNewsChina, the new Seal is expected to officially launch on August 8, just a few days from now.

BYD has yet to reveal the technical details of the 2025 BYD Seal. In Malaysia, the outgoing BYD Seal is offered with 2 powertrain options – rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD). They both get the same 82.56-kWh battery that provides 650 km of range (NEDC) in the RWD variant and 580 km of range (NEDC) in the AWD variant. The RWD variant is known as the Premium variant which costs RM180,430 while the AWD variant is known as the Performance variant which costs RM200,430.
