Jetour Auto Malaysia has launched the all-new Jetour T2 in Malaysia, the third model from the Chinese carmaker available locally, following the Jetour Dashing and Jetour VT9. The all-new Jetour T2 is available locally in one variant, priced at RM156,800, excluding registration fee, hire purchase processing and inspection fee, road tax, and insurance.
Measuring in at 4,785 mm long, 2,006 mm wide, and 1,875 mm tall, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase, the Jetour T2 is slightly longer and wider, but shorter than the GWM Tank 300 in the same segment. The T2’s wheelbase is also 50 mm longer than the Tank 300’s.
Unlike the Jetour Dashing and VT9, the Jetour T2 features a utilitarian exterior design with boxy edges all around, lending it a strong road presence. Depending on your perspective, its exterior might even remind you of a Land Rover Defender or a Ford Bronco Sport, as these cars share a similar squarish exterior.

Standard exterior equipment on the Jetour T2 includes:

Mirroring the rugged exterior styling, the interior of the Jetour T2 features a vertical dashboard with large air vents. A 15.6-inch infotainment display, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, is centrally located. The centre console houses a large gear shifter and a rotary dial for selecting one of the seven available drive modes.

Under the bonnet, the Jetour T2 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four engine, producing 245 hp and 375 Nm. This is paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), which sends power to an all-wheel drive (AWD) system, which the company calls it as the “XWD intelligent drive system”.
This AWD setup can automatically switch between two- and four-wheel drive and features seven selectable modes: Sport, Economy, Normal, Snow, Mud, Sand, and Rock. There’s also an intelligent X Smart Mode, which automatically selects the most suitable drive mode based on the road conditions. For off-road enthusiasts, the Jetour T2 has a wading depth of 700 mm, and crawl control is also available.
For safety features, the Jetour T2 is equipped with six airbags and a suite of ADAS features. These include:
