Bermaz Motor has quietly updated the Mazda CX-5 for the 2026 model year, with changes applied specifically to the 2.0G High variant. The update comes in the form of a new standard accessories package that enhances the SUV’s equipment and appearance.
The new accessories package is priced at RM6,160, up from the previous RM2,410 kit. As a result, the new 2026 Mazda CX-5 2.0G 2WD High is now priced RM157,629.20 on the road and without insurance when fitted with the new accessories package.
Speaking of prices, Bermaz Motor also revised its prices for the Mazda CX-5 last year, cutting around RM10,000 across most of the range, except the 2.2D High diesel variant. For 2026, those prices remain largely unchanged, although the 2.2D High diesel now finally receives the same price reduction its petrol-powered siblings saw last year.
The headline upgrade on the new 2026 Mazda CX-5 2.0G High is a new 12.3-inch centre infotainment touchscreen, replacing the previous 8-inch unit. Visually, it also gains a new body-coloured cladding, differentiating it from the rest of the lineup which maintains the matte black finish around the entire lower part of the vehicle.
Additional items included in the new package are the familiar Activ-e window film, LED-illuminated sill plates, and Bermaz’s Driving Video Recorder (dashcam).

The Updated 2026 Mazda CX-5 prices are as follows, on-the-road, without insurance, and inclusive of the pre-installed standard accessories package:
- Mazda CX-5 2.0G Mid 2WD – RM137,529
- Mazda CX-5 2.0G High 2WD – RM157,629
- Mazda CX-5 2.5G High 2WD – RM168,120
- Mazda CX-5 2.2D High 2WD – RM173,482
- Mazda CX-5 2.5T High AWD – RM181,920
The standard accessories kit for all variants except the newly-updated 2.0G High will come with accessories installed from the factory worth RM3,160 (RM3,060 for 2.0G Mid). This package includes the Activ-e window film, LED-illuminated sill plates, and Bermaz’s Driving Video Recorder (dashcam); owners of the 2.0G Mid can also opt for leather seats for an extra RM2,900.
All prices listed above are also specifically for the Metallic paint option – Premium paint (consisting of Soul Red Crystal and Machine Grey) will cost you an additional RM3,300.
As before, these prices include a standard five-year or 100,000 km manufacturer’s warranty with a five-year or 100,000 km free maintenance programme. The latter covers all required maintenance, labour, parts, and lubricants.
