The TQ Wuling Bingo electric vehicle (EV) has launched in Malaysia, with prices starting from RM67,800 on the road and without insurance. Locally assembled (CKD) at Tan Chong Motor Holdings’ (TCMH) production facility, the car is available in two variants: Pro and Max.
The TQ Wuling Bingo EV is slightly smaller than other entry-level Chinese EV hatchbacks such as the Proton eMAS 5 (stylised as e.MAS 5) and the BYD Dolphin. Instead, it fits more neatly into the A-segment, comparable in size to the Perodua Axia.
Sporting a cheerful and retro-futuristic look, it features LED headlights and taillights with distinct X-shaped daytime-running lights (DRL), silver trims all around, and 15-inch steel wheels with silver wheel covers for added style.
Inside, the TQ Wuling Bingo EV boasts dual 10.25-inch displays for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cheerful theme continues with a dual-tone interior, leatherette upholstery, and glossy ceramic-style trim pieces.
Other interior features include two USB ports, a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a rotary gear selector, and a four-speaker sound system.

Both variants of the TQ Wuling Bingo EV use the same front-mounted electric motor producing 68 hp and 150 Nm of torque. The Pro variant is paired with a 31.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery for a CLTC-rated range of 333 km, while the Max gets a larger 37.9 kWh LFP battery, extending range to 410 km.
AC charging is supported at up to seven kW, enabling a full charge in around 4.5 hours for the Pro and 5.5 hours for the Max. DC fast charging at up to 50 kW allows a 30-80% recharge in under 35 minutes for both variants.
