Zeekr has unveiled the new facelifted Zeekr 7X. While the exterior only received a minor nip and tuck, the biggest changes are underneath the skin, where the SUV now boasts up to 795 hp, and is based on a 900V architecture that enables a 10–80% recharge in as little as 10 minutes.
Three variants of the Zeekr 7X will be offered in China: the 75 kWh RWD Max, the 103 kWh RWD Max, and the 103 kWh AWD Ultra. As the name suggests, these variants are differentiated by their battery pack capacities and powertrain outputs.
On the top-range 103 kWh AWD Ultra, you get a dual-motor powertrain producing a total of 795 hp (585 kW), which allows you to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in a blistering fast 2.98 seconds. This variant is paired to a 103 kWh battery sourced from CATL, enabling a range of 715 km on the very optimistic CLTC cycle.
If you don’t need 795 horses, the base Zeekr 7X in China is equipped with a rear-mounted motor producing 504 hp (370 kW), enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 5.4 seconds. This is paired to a 75 kWh Geely Golden Brick battery pack, enabling a range of 620 km (CLTC).
The 103 kWh RWD Max uses the same powertrain as the base variant, but its century sprint is curiously faster at 5.1 seconds. This is paired to a larger 103 kWh battery pack sourced from CATL, which bumps the range up to 802 km (CLTC).
Compared to the pre-facelift Zeekr 7X currently on sale in Malaysia, the updated outputs are 82 hp more powerful on the RWD variants (421 hp) and a significant 149 hp bump over the outgoing AWD variant (646 hp).

Charging specifications are now faster thanks to the 900V platform, with the 75 kWh variant supporting a charging speed of “5.5C”. This is China’s way of calculating how fast a battery charges relative to its maximum capacity, in this case, around 412 kWh, which enables a 10-80% recharge in 10.5 minutes.
On variants equipped with the 103 kWh battery pack, it supports “6C” charging, which means it can support 650 kW DC fast charging, taking just 10 minutes to recharge from 10-80%.
As standard, all three variants are equipped with Geely’s G-Pilot H7, featuring 31 sensors throughout the SUV and powered by the Nvidia Drive Thor-U chipset. This suite of hardware enables the Zeekr 7X for semi-autonomous driving on city and highway routes, as well as remote parking assist.

These hardware upgrades are wrapped in an updated exterior where the front fascia receives a new, smaller central intake, complemented by new side vents and chrome trims.
The optional quirky Zeekr Stargate Integrated Smart Light Curtain remains prominently featured at the front of the 7X, but the full-width light strip below now turns blue to indicate the ADAS feature is activated, along with the side mirror and the taillight.
Towards the rear, the license plate holder has been relocated to the tailgate from the rear bumper. The rear bumper itself gets a nip and tuck with slimmer black trim, and the secondary lights have been moved to the body-colored sections. The facelifted Zeekr 7X also introduces several new alloy-wheel designs.
Inside, the Zeekr 7X retains its 16-inch centre display and 13.02-inch digital gauge cluster for the driver. Other interior features available in China include a fridge located in the centre console operating between -6 and 50 degrees Celsius, a folding rear table and display behind the driver’s seat, power recline, and heated rear seats with leg rests.
Closer to home, Zeekr has announced that it will establish a production facility in Tanjung Malim. When the facility is up and running, could we see the facelifted Zeekr 7X assembled locally?
