iCaur Malaysia has launched the all-electric iCaur 03 in Malaysia. The iCaur 03 is fully-imported (CBU) from China for now, and is available in two variants priced from RM119,800, on-the-road, without insurance.

The iCaur 03 dimensions are 4,406 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,715 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm long, placing it in the C-segment SUV category. The design of the iCaur 03 features heavy styling cues from the Land Rover Defender, featuring a boxy, edgy design reminiscent of classic off-roaders. A unique highlight of its exterior is the letter “i” integrated into the design, appearing in the headlights, taillights, and even on the wheel caps. Standard exterior features of the iCar 03 include:

The main difference between the iCaur 2WD and iWD variant externally are the alloy wheels sizes, where it is 18-inches on the former, and 19-inch on the top-range iWD variant.
The rugged theme continues inside the iCar 03, with features like prominent grab handles on the centre console and a distinctly vertical dashboard. The steering wheel is notable for its Tesla-style control knobs. Continuing the exterior’s design language, the letter “i” motif is also found in the cabin, appearing on the steering wheel and again on the dashboard between the central air vents. The boot space on the iCaur 03 is rated at 450 litres, which can be expanded to 1,238 litres with the rear seats folded. Standard interior features of the iCaur 03 in Malaysia include:

The iCar 03 is offered with two powertrain configurations in Malaysia. The standard rear-wheel drive variant is powered by a single electric motor producing 184 hp (135 kW) and 220 Nm of torque. This allows for a 0-100 km/h time of 10.5 seconds and a top speed of 150 km/h.
It is equipped with a 65.7 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery pack, providing a range of 426 km (NEDC) or 371 km (WLTP), the latter according to the official specifications for the car’s Thai-market counterpart, the Jaecoo 6 EV equipped with the same battery pack. For charging, it supports up to 80 kW DC, which can recharge the battery from 30-80% in 30 minutes, and 11 kW AC charging.
The higher-performance all-wheel drive variant adds a front motor, boosting the combined output to 279 hp (205 kW) and 385 Nm. This significantly reduces the 0-100 km/h sprint to 6.5 seconds, while the top speed remains 150 km/h. This version uses a larger 69.8 kWh LFP battery pack, offering a range of 418 km (NEDC) or 364 km (WLTP). Its charging specifications are the same, with support for 80 kW DC and 11 kW AC charging. Both variants of the iCaur 03 support vehicle-to-load (V2L) at 3.2 kW.
For off-road enthusiasts, the iCaur 03 is rated for a 28-degree approach angle, a 32-degree departure angle, gradeability of up to 55%, and water wading capability is rated at 450 mm.
The iCaur 03 is equipped with an integrated dashcam, six airbags, and a suite of ADAS features, which include:

Five exterior paint jobs are available for the iCaur 03, they are: Silver, Grey, White, Black, and Aurora Green. The iCaur 03 is priced from RM119,800 in Malaysia. Included in the price is a seven-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty, an eight-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, and an eight-year or 160,000 km drive unit and high voltage components, with a one-to-one battery replacement if the state-of-health falls below 70%.
In conjunction with the launch, iCaur Malaysia is offering an exclusive early bird package for the first 1,000 deliveries of the iCaur 03 in Malaysia with one year of unlimited charging via the JomCharge network (including authorised roaming partners) with Auto Charge functionality, exclusive lifestyle package worth RM3,000, featuring merchandise and vouchers from Starbucks, JD Sports, Sunway Lagoon, and Touch ‘n Go, and a complimentary Wallbox charger valued at RM3,400, and a standrdised wallbox installation package, provided through a partnership with EVC and Kineta for a standardised cost of RM1,388.
Initial units of the iCaur 03 in Malaysia will be CBU from China. Starting in January 2026, local assembly (CKD) for the iCaur 03 will start in Malaysia at the Chery Corporate Malaysia, Shah Alam plant, alongside Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia models.
In addition to the standard two variants, the iCaur 03 is also available with a Black Phantom Edition, available in 100 units, which costs an additional RM20,000 and features an exclusive exterior bodykit, matte-black finish, roof rack platform, and side-ladder.
