Honda Malaysia, in collaboration with Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), is providing 25 units of the Honda e:N1 electric vehicle (EV) SUV for the 45th ASEAN Railways CEO’s Conference (ARCEO). The event hosted by KTMB will be happening from 8th to 12th September 2025.
As the Official Car Transport Partner, these vehicles will be transporting leaders and delegates of ASEAN railway operators from Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Malaysia.
Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Narushi Yazaki, said, “We are proud to support this prestigious event and KTMB by ensuring a seamless commuting experience across the Klang Valley for delegates. This collaboration symbolises the strong synergy between the railway and automotive industries in advancing sustainable mobility.”

The Honda e:N1, launched earlier this year as the company’s first EV in the country, starts from RM149,900 on-the-road without insurance. It uses a single front-mounted electric motor producing 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque, allowing for a top speed of 160 km/h.
Power comes from a 68.8 kWh ternary lithium-ion (NMC) battery, delivering up to 500 km of range (NEDC). Charging options include 10 kW AC for a full charge in about six hours, or 78 kW DC for a 30-80% top up in 50 minutes.
The price includes an eight-year/160,000 km warranty covering both the battery and electric drive system. For added peace of mind, the e:N1 can also be had with the Honda Insurance Plus (HiP EV) package, offering extra EV benefits.
