The iCaur V23 is undoubtedly one of the most stylish cars on sale today. But if for some reason it still doesn’t quite stand out to you enough, iCaur Malaysia is now offering a unique Retro Edition customisation package. Priced at a cool RM22,000, the styling kit will be available for both new buyers and existing owners alike.
Orders and “professional fitment” can be done at all authorized iCaur dealerships nationwide. For a limited time in conjunction with the Chinese New Year festivities, the company is also offering a special promotional price for the Retro Edition kit at just RM18,888. This offer is only eligible to the first 88 buyers, so act quick if you want one.

As a tribute to the “classic rugged design” the iCaur V23 Retro Edition kit makes charitable use of chrome plating on its front fascia, bumpers, as well as the overfenders, all of which are new parts with slightly different profile to the plastic pieces found on the stock V23.
These are complemented by an additional roof frame (with accompanying side ladder), new side steps, as well as fender trims, all of which are accentuated by real hardwood trims for the proper retro vibes. And they’re not just for show either – the side steps are also 40 mm wider than the standard items, making it easier for ingress and egress.
All individual Retro Edition accessories are covered by a 12-month warranty, with the wooden side steps getting an extended 18-month coverage for extra piece of mind. The green and cream colours you see here, by the way, are by way of vinyl wraps.

The iCaur V23 was launched in Malaysia late last year in two variants, the V23 2WD priced at RM119,870, and the V23 iWD priced at RM132,980, both inclusive of road tax which have now come into effect since January 1st. The former, powered by a single 136 hp/180 Nm rear-mounted motor, definitely works better with the Retro Edition kit thanks to its unique 19-inch kompang-style wheels.
If you do need more performance, though, the iWD adds an extra motor in front to bump up the outputs to 211 hp and 292 Nm. It also gets a bigger battery for an extended 430 km (NEDC) driving range, compared to 360 km (NEDC) on the 2WD.
