Carro Malaysia has opened the doors to its brand-new Zeekr Space Bangsar showroom. This comes after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chinese carmaker in June, which marked the appointment of Carro Malaysia as the latest authorised dealer for Zeekr in Malaysia.
The new showroom is Carro Malaysia’s first Zeekr showroom in the country, opening its doors officially just a few days after the opening of Zeekr Centre KLCC, another flagship showroom located within Kuala Lumpur’s “Golden Triangle”, signalling at the Chinese marque’s intent in the country.
Spanning 5,000 sq. ft. with three display bays, Zeekr Space Bangsar is part of Zeekr’s roadmap to establish 10 showrooms across Malaysia by the end of 2025. More outlets are planned for Seremban, Johor Bahru, Klang Valley and Penang, with the next phase of expansion targeting Sabah and Sarawak.
On display at the new showroom is the all-electric Zeekr 7X, which is slated to be launched in Malaysia soon. Three variants will be available, with indicative pricing for the first 500 bookings starting from an estimated RM182,000.
The Zeekr 7X will be available with two battery packs. The standard range model uses a 75 kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) unit for a targeted range of 480 km (WLTP), while the larger 100 kWh nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) battery offers a range of between 543 km and 610 km (WLTP), depending on the variant.
Zeekr Space Bangsar is located at No 79, Jalan Maarof, Bangsar, 59000, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. The showroom is open daily from Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm.
