Book your new car for just RM100 with Perodua’s new online booking platform

National carmaker Perodua has rolled out its new online booking platform, designed to streamline the car-buying process while at the same time helping its customers in preventing scams from con artists pretending to be sales advisors. It’s dubbed “Perodua Online Booking” (POB), and it makes buying a new car as easy as just a couple of clicks on a website – yes, really!

All you have to do is head over to the new POB page linked here, fill in some basic purchase information including your location and purchase method (hire purchase or cash, individual or company registration), and pick the model of your choice along with any additional accessories.

Once you’ve reviewed your purchase summary, you can then fill in your particulars, choose your preferred outlet and sales advisor, pay the RM100 refundable booking fee via FPX, and you’re done. Once payment is completed, an official booking receipt will be sent to you via email and through the UFirst app. If you’ve yet to register your membership on the app, your preferred sales advisor will reach out to you within 24 hours to sign the relevant documents.

The booking process also includes options for vehicle trade-in and test drives, both of which will be arranged by your chosen Perodua outlet. Additionally, you can also directly apply for a hire-purchase loan through the POB platform, or alternatively opt to do so via your preferred sales advisor, or through the UFirst app. A bank officer will contact you directly for confirmation and further steps.

Keep in mind, though, that booking your new car through POB doesn’t mean you’ll be “skipping the queue”. Your delivery timeframe will be based on the waiting times for your chosen outlet – so speak to your preferred sales advisor for an estimated delivery date, and track your order via the UFirst app.

If you’ve previously booked a Perodua vehicle at a physical outlet, the POB platform will not allow a second booking until the first one has been registered. The platform also only allows for one order per online booking submission, so if you do need to make more than one booking, contact your sales advisor directly.

What you can do on POB, however, is to purchase a car for your friends and family – simply enter the details of the receiver in the form. Changed your mind on the model, colour, accessories, or even want to cancel the booking completely? Don’t worry, just contact your preferred sales advisor, and they will walk you through the process to do that via the UFirst app.
